Dr. Nforbelie’s Foundation
The Dr. Nforbelie’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through education by ensuring that financial hardship never prevents a child from learning. Founded by Dr. Louis Nforbelie Ngwa, PhD, the foundation was established on the conviction that education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for individuals, families, and communities. Guided by the belief that happiness comes from putting a smile on the faces of those who struggle, the foundation continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of underprivileged children across Cameroon.
Over the past four years, the foundation has supported hundreds of students in Nkwen, Bamenda III, and neighboring communities by providing scholarships, educational resources, mentorship, and recognition for academic excellence. Through strategic partnerships with schools, community leaders, volunteers, and donors, the foundation works tirelessly to ensure that deserving students have access to quality education regardless of their economic background.
Our Mission
The mission of the Dr. Nforbelie’s Foundation is to remove financial barriers that prevent children from accessing education while promoting academic excellence, personal growth, and leadership development. Our Programs
The foundation delivers its mission through three flagship programs that address different educational needs while encouraging excellence and inclusion.
NCDA Scholarship Program
The NCDA Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to talented students from low-income families who might otherwise be unable to continue their education. Scholarships help cover tuition fees, learning materials, examination costs, and other essential school-related expenses. The program ensures that deserving students remain in school, stay focused on their studies, and are given an equal opportunity to succeed academically.

Pinnacle Performance Award

The Pinnacle Performance Award celebrates students who demonstrate exceptional performance, dedication, leadership, and exemplary character. By recognizing outstanding achievements, the foundation inspires learners to strive for excellence while motivating others to work hard and pursue their educational goals.
The award also highlights the importance of perseverance, discipline, and continuous improvement, fostering a culture where success is celebrated and academic achievement is valued.
Adopt-A-Child Sponsorship Program
The Adopt-A-Child Sponsorship Program provides direct support to vulnerable children by covering educational expenses such as school fees, uniforms, textbooks, exercise books, and other basic learning materials. Through generous sponsors and donors, children receive the resources they need to remain in school and complete their education with dignity and confidence.
This initiative creates lasting relationships between sponsors and beneficiaries while giving children hope for a brighter future. The foundation believes that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and succeed regardless of their circumstances.
